June 3, 201412 yr Wonderful scenic flight! HLJAMES Thanks, It was my dream to have Swiss scenery to fly over someday in FSX. FSEarthtiles made that possible, along with installation of Holger's mesh, which makes the Matterhorn look like the Matterhorn for instance (even though it's not in these screenshots). I used Holger's Alps mesh in FS2004 and when I found a spike near Zermatt in FSX's default scenery, I decided to use the mesh in FSX too. In my screenshots above there's a couple of shots of Walensee, the turquoise lake in the third screenshot. I've driven along it in a bus and took several train rides past there in the 70's, 80's and 90's and it's one of the most beautiful alpine lakes. John
