Hello Y'all,

Not sure if this is an FSX or PMDG thing, however, when I turn the dials on any rotary switch like the APU or Engine Start or even the TCAS switch, I get a loud 1 second burst of static.  Just wondering if I am the only one or if there is a fix for it.

 

My setup is Nvidea GTX770 HDMI to a Denon Amp. Doesn't happen with my 737ngx.

Never had that, but have you tried without the HDMI sound?

Just basic PC speakers, to test if it is the simulation or something else.

 

Also, both FSX and the PMDG have separate sound settings and output devices to choose.

Maybe they are intefering with each other?

(The PMDG sound device can be setup in the FMC)

I haven't messed with the setting on either 737ngx or the 777.  Which is why I find it odd that the 777 makes the *sksssssht* sound and the 737ngx does not.
