June 13, 201411 yr Some of you know I have been banned for life from the Orbx Community Forum for my over-the-top criticism of Global when it first came out. What set me over the top was the peasoup green texture Global originally had for my beloved desert's tans and yellows and reds and oranges. In addition to my hobbies of flightsimming (FS004 - FSX/Orbx) and trainsimming (MSTS) a couple months ago after we cleaned out a spare bedroom I decided to build another model railroad in the space. Now what in the world, you ask, does model railroading have to do with Orbx. Well, let me tell you. My railroad is located in the desert of southeast New Mexico and to commemorate the reason that led to my lifetime ban from the Orbx Community Forum I have set aside a little patch of my desert and colored the sand peasoup green. I'm putting a little fence around it and calling it Orbx National Park. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
