I´m newbie in this Forum. Greetings from LEAM, Spain.

I´m trying to use SweetFX in FSX (FSX is configured with DX10 and using Steve's DX10 addon).

Basically I download SweetFX, copy the files to FSX root directory. Then I download FlightFX and a preset for FSX.

After installing FlightFX and copying preset to its folder, when I run FSX I don´t see any difference.

In FlightFX I activated SPLITSCREEN, but when I press the KEY (BLOQ SCROLL) nothings happen.

 

What is wrong? Maybe I´m missing an step but I don't know which.

1. Windows version: 8.1

2. Simulator: FSX DX10 (with Steve's DX10 Scenery Fixer)

3. Graphics card: NVIDIA GTX 770 2GB DDR5

4. I7 4770k

5. 16GB RAM

You have to use the P3D2 windows 8.1 exclusive package (should work with FSX DX10 as well). The package (and every other package) includes a preset which is SPECIFICALLY configured for that package. Presets you find on the internet can't be used without a proper adjustment.

 

With your rig, you should adhere to the installation process precisely in order to achieve the best possible result.
