Able to run PMDG 777

Here is my rig:

CPU: i7 2700 3.5GHz 8MB:, MO ASUS Maximus 4 Extreme-Z,: Memory Corsair 8G DDR3 1866MHz, GPU: ASUS GTX580 1536MB, Cooling: Corsair H80, HD: HD 480GB SSD OCz, HDD Seagate 1T 7200RPM 32MB, Power Supply: Thermaltake 1000W, Windows 7 Pro 64bits.

With default scenery you would probably maintain the same performance as you are used to for the most part. Adding in detailed scenery, airports, textures and weather you would probably need to lower some sliders to maintain the performance you are used to.

 

That said, what makes up your present FSX add-ons and settings? With these details a more accurate analysis may be obtainable.

I almost have all FTX regions with FTX Global +Vector and also many payware airports. I can run the PMDG 737, Majestic Dash-8-Q400, Flight one Super King Air and few other ones correctly.

I'm at 4.5GHz with similar scenery, the NGX and so forth as you. The T7 ever so slightly lowers performance compared to the NGX on my system, mostly in bad weather (ASN/REX) over say Aerosft Manhattan X. I would say you're good to go.
