March 14, 200521 yr What are the differences between Wideview and WideFS? Between the two pieces of software does one program support more monitors and/or more processors than the other?Thank youTom
March 14, 200521 yr Hi Tom,The two programs do not do the same thing. Wideview provides access to multiple monitors. WideFS allows external programs to run on a second machine while connected to FS over a network. Do not purchase WideFS if multiple monitors is your goal.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
March 14, 200521 yr Author Jim,Thanks for the help. So are you saying is that I could run a program (i.e. Active Sky) in a LAN situation with WideFS? Tom
March 14, 200521 yr Hi,Correct, and then this removes some processing power from the FS computer and puts programs like AS on a second machine.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
