Biman Bangladesh 777-300ER Routes?

Featured Replies

Hey all,

I'm currently creating a route database for all of the routes the -300ER flies in real life (exception: Emirates, it would add too much time). With any sort of luck, I'll push the file out to you tomorrow, and I'll update it monthly hopefully!

I'm having some trouble though with the Biman Bangladesh routes. It's difficult to find their -300ER routes due to their lack of presence on flightaware and minimal presence on flightradar24. All I have so far is Dhaka to London, Jeddah, and Riyadh. I tried googling it but got few current results. Please let me know what routes I'm missing, so the version I give to you all will be current.

Happy simming, and stay tuned for the database!

I did a quick photo search on Airliners.net and double checked they were routes not diversions/special flights and found that they operate to:

EGLL

WSSS

EDDF

LIRF

I also found a number of photos at the following airports so I assume that they may be historic routes

EGCC

LIMC

ZBAA

Hope this Helps, Looking forward to seeing the database.

Kind Regards,

I believe they will be flying to Birmingham (EGBB) with this aircraft as I spoke to the Ex-CEO while on board the last DC-10 flight

I find flightstats.com extremely useful for researching current routes.  You can search for an airport (DAC), filter for an airline (Biman), then use the "hide codeshares" functionality on the resulting list to clean it up (except that there doesn't seem to be any codeshares on Biman out of Dhaka, hah).  Also sorting by equipment type can be useful on longer lists than this one.

Today it looks like the 777-300 is operating the following:

0200 BG39 DAC-RUH

1030 BG23 DAC-CGP

1645 BG27 DAC-CGP

2100 BG86 DAC-KUL

2230 BG37 DAC-CGP

1215 BG23 CGP-MCT

1830 BG27 CGP-AUH

2355 BG24 CGP-DAC

I should have done the airliners photo search, not sure how I didn't think of that! And for those who are involved in this thread, would you like the database to be part of the AVSIM library or an external sort of file that is from another source i.e. dropbox?

I will be adding the following (only the outbound routes are listed, adding the inbound routes will take too much time):

DAC - CGP

CGP - AUH

DAC - MCT

DAC - KUL
