New copilot function - design features

Featured Replies

With the new development of the function to allow for more than 1 person to be in the same plane virtually (ie pilot, copilot, passenger, etc) info http://www.gates.to/ I was curious to know what others thought and also, after seeing a few screens of this and empty cockpits, wondered if developers should/will provide new visual modeling to make this feature a little more realistic visually, meaning pilot figures in the VC. As someone that does 3D design, I understand more polys, means less performance, but I for one, would be willing to lose a few elsewhere to have a visually more convincing VC. Like the new feature in the A36 where you can toggle the VC from the panelGranted there are those that could care less about eye candy (or VCs), but with the success of GA addons and airports like the Georenders series, obviously many enjoy VFR flight and this would add to that. I think it would be nice to have a copilot in the Citation X or to to have a visual reference to the person that I am talking to (teamsspeak) that is flying the plane I am in around Misty Fjords.Just trying to se what others thought and maybe put a bug in developers ears.Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/mcdcvabanner.jpgCalVirAir International
