Two questions

Recommended Posts

When I crash my airplane in FS 9 I don't see my airplane wrecked and burned in flames. Does this depends on model of aircraft that I use or I should turn on some options in settings? Instead of crashed and burned airplane I get "CRASH" notice from FS...shortly after the crash flight is reset by FS. And here is my second question: Could someone tell me the difference between OAT and TAT temperatures? Thanks for answering and best regards...Dubravko

Try a search in the library for massive crash. I just checked and the program I use is still there. I think MS did away with such a feature after 9-11. Sorry I'm not sure of the difference between OAT and TAT.

Firstly, doing a search would have found you both answers. And as simmers we really prefer not to crash our aircraft but in the case of crash effects.MS disabled these after the 9/11 incident but they can be enabled very easily Look in your Aircraft.cfg file for visual_damage=0Change the 0 to 1 and I believe that will enable it.Also there is a file available in the Library (Again By doing a SEARCH) called Massive Crash. The files is available here:http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004misc&DLID=39472Cheers
