Unable to enter destination in client PC

Featured Replies

Just installed OPUS client on my second PC. Networked and linked with the server (green boxes on both screens).

Problem I have is that whenever I enter my destination ICAO code on the server, the box remains yellow (no matter what destination I put in) and as soon as I click on 'update weather' the contents are removed and the cursor placed back there.

It would appear that it does not know where to look for airport information. What have I missed?

The box is changed to green background as soon as you enter ANY character, it does not check to see if it is valid. So if it remains yellow then you are not actually entering anything. Are you typing the destination in when the dialog has focus. Try pausing the sim.

It is still doing it but have found a work around by entering the full flight plan

OK. But the Destination box should turn green as soon any character is entered. Hence, you need only click on the Destination box to select it, then press any key, and that key should then appear within the box and the background of the box turns green to indicate it is not empty. My bet is you have your sim active which might be constantly grabbing the focus, so any key you press is being sent to and processed by the sim and not going by the dialog. But if you pause the sim or perhaps minimise the sims display everything should be ok.
