Really like this freeware version of this plane (located in the AVSIM library) and except for some minor ghost at night skin problems this is a great plane for P3D.  Except when it flies for more than approximately 200 miles, I will get a common fault error of MSVCR100.dll fault.  At first I did not know what the issue was but I kept flying the same flight profile and eventually figured it out.  As long as I did not fly this plane, no crash to desktop.

 

I have looked at the files for this plane and they seem to be ok, I even ran FS Panel over it and could not find a hidden fault.  The only thing that I saw may have an impact on the plane is they use a lot of SST gauges, I wonder if too many gauges can cause a drain on resources.  Any good and helpful ideas would greatly be accepted!

OK, no worries on this one I figured it out.

Well I thought I did, then after looking and trying to make it work and a couple of other freewares and then went back to CS L1011 only to be ticked off I could not change the panel and add a FMS, I finally bit the bullet and purchased Just Flights L1011, went to ISG and downloaded the panel, then tweaked the panel so it places the ISG guages exactly where I want them and they are the sizes that I want, I am very happy.  Performed two flights, already, I find a route, or load up FSBUILD, create the flight plan, export it to ISG, then load my JF L1011-500 and do that pilot thing!  I really wish CS L1011 could be modified on the control panels to add guages but I have had not luck and dont want to waste anymore time.  So if you are inlclined to fly a 3-holer, and looking for a really good payware, but want to fly with an FMS or GPS that comes standard already, then get the JF L1011 TriStar, it also laods quite nicely onto P3D.
