September 4, 201411 yr If you received an email from DCS regarding their September sale - be advised the advertised prices are not being honored. I went to spend $33 for three items, only to find out they claim a mistake was made in that email. The $33 would have been $49 if I checked my cart out. I know a lot of people will give them a pass, but, I find it unprofessional. If you put out an advertisement, proof it, and if there is an error either honor it or send out a correction email, at least. I am not a frequenter of their forums, and even then it took some searching in service threads to find where they mentioned the email was wrong. Joe Lorenc
September 4, 201411 yr I agree with you. They should honor the advertised price. I would and have eatin mistakes in pricing. It reminds me of what can only be described as comical! A few years ago now, I bought 2 PNY GTX 580's directly from their website. The card had just been released and I was shopping around for the best price. PNY beat everyone else by a good chunk of change. perhaps about $20 or $30 per card. I recall thinking that it was an awesome deal on these just released cards:-) A few weeks later I got an letter! Yes a letter in the snail mail from the Financial controller of PNY informing me of a mistake in the pricing with an invoice for the balance of about $100 asking me to rectify the situation immediately. Needless to say I laughed my pants of all day long.... I did do him the courtesy of sending him a reply by snail mail pointing out his appauling lack of good judgement. LOL Needless to say I have resolved to never by another PNY product again unless I notice a big mistake in the pricing. LOL
