I am new to Desktop Flight sims and have Microsoft Flight Simulator X Gold edition.

I am interested in Live Weather Updates.

Can anyone give me advice as to choosing between REX essentials Plus Overdrive  or ActiveSky Next, or Opus

Just interested in something easy to use that looks nice.

I have all three, disabled OPUS, Active Sky Next is the best for weather. The Rex is used for textures.

ASN is great, although if Opus is set up well, it can be just as good. I also use Rex for textures. I've stuck with Opus for so long because of the Live Camera feature which, allow not as good as EzDok, saves me a lot of hassle as EzDok doesn't like working on my laptop.
