Virtual Cockpit scenery freezes on extra monitors if go to menu

Featured Replies

I'm running 3 monitors for FSX with a Virtual cockpit on each one.

I have the default VC view on the center and then a view on each side that has been moved in the appropriate directions so it looks like they are views out the pilots side windows.... I also put some instruments on the side monitors (GPS, overhead).

It works great and looks fantastic.... until.....

If I go to anything that leaves the flight screens (go to the menu to get your landing ILS info, go to the Virtual Flight Path screen to turn it on, etc) - when I come back out of the menu the scenery is messed up and frozen on my 2 side screens but is fine on my center/primary.

The view itself seems fine (inside of airplane look OK) but out the window it looks like just scrambled up pics of the airplane or something and it doesn't move. Also, the instruments I had on my side screens all of a sudden go very small and I have to stretch them back out.

It works great aside from this so really want to find a solution so I can really enjoy it.

For reference, here is my hardware:

Gigabyte Z97X Gaming 7 Motherboard

Intel I7 processor

8 GB RAM

Radeon R9270 Graphics Card

Also, I have the same issue when only 2 monitors are connected so don't think the resources are my issue?

Thanks!

Jeff
