Kneeboard use

Featured Replies

Is it possible to view other programmes in the kneeboard?? I would like to bring up an appropriate plan page from "Final Approach" to identify the runway number and/or location whilst approaching an airportMany thanksGeorge

Look for VPN (Virtual Pilots Network) somewhere here in the libraries. They rigged up a web browser in the kneeboard that allowed u to search the net while flying. They even had it defaulted to some nav/weather pages. I used this in FS2k2, but don't see why it wouldn't work in FS9.Adam

George,I don't know about the kneeboard, but there is another gauge you can install in your panels called 'runway info'. It was built for FS2002, but should work in FS2004 also, it just probably will lack a lot of the airports. All of the biggies are in there though, and it gives you the runway numbers, lengths, navaid freqs and headings. All you have to do is plug in the airport identifier. The database is also editable so you can add additional airport information, or customize with additional info like 'ATIS' freqs and 'ELEVATION'. Good stuff to have before setting up an approach.Good flights,Bob
