PILOT'S - FS Global 2010 FTX Compatible question!

Featured Replies

Am confused. Thinking of buying but questions, questions..

PILOT'S - FS Global 2010 FTX Compatible here:

http://www.flightsim...roducts_id=2648

They say: (FS-Mesh- and sourcedata in 9m resolution!) for Hawaii (complete) and the southwest of the US, south of 38°N and west of 108°W (ca. Mesa Verde -> Point Reyes)

So 9m resolution ONLY around Hawaii and bits of the SW USA? What about Europe?

They say: Greenland, Iceland and Scandinavia in LOD 9 (76m; standard SRTM resolution)

Scandinavia in worse resolution that FSX? FSX default was 38m wasn't it? So P3D default mesh would be the same. Or am I missing something here? I have 19m freeware mesh for Norway.

They say: additional high resolution areas in Europe in LOD11 (19m): High Tatra, Scottland, Hardangervidda (Norway)

so just three high resolution areas in Europe? What about the rest of Europe?

Any thoughts from those of you who own FS Global 2010 FTX Compatible?

Thanks! Adam
