Howdy all,  been awhile since I posted here.

 

I'm trying to troubleshoot why my MD-11 autopilot disconnects in cruise.  I know the usual reasons: some sort of overly sensitive yoke input of axis or button push.  

 

I'm fairly certain it's not an axis blip since I don't have this problem in other birds.  My suspicions are this is button push, like a button I have that pulls the throttle to idle.  Could that cause the AP to cut off?  Any other thoughts on what could cause that to happen if not an axis blip?
