I asked the autobreak issue before, after reinstall the FUCIP and PMDG 777. Now the autobreak works in 2 situation.

 

1) ILS auto land

2) Manual Landing with autothrottle is set OFF

 

However, when I perform manual landing with autothrottle is set ON, the autobreak disarm immediate after touch down.  (During the test, I just use a keyboard and mouse. No axis used for throttle, just F1 F2 F3 F4, mouse not being use as yoke) My question is:

 

1 )Do autothrottle not in IDLE when FLARE, as i know the autobreak will disarm when the throttle is not in IDLE position.

2) Do i need to setup in PMDG menu, there are 2 option which are A/T manual override and A/T Flare IDLE Overide.

3) Anything recommendations?

1)  When on, the A/T should go into idle shortly before touchdown -- @ 30 feet AGL.  Note that it must be both armed and turned on.  What speed is set in the MCP and what is the A/T indicator showing on the FMA (A/T indication is at left top of PFD)?   This indicator will tell you what the A/T is actually doing, not what you might think it is set to do.  Can you grab a screen shot just before and just after touchdown (pause simulator if necessary)?

 

2)  It shouldn't matter which option you have for A/T override -- it should go into idle shortly before touchdown if it is armed and turned on.  Haven't tried A/T FLARE override but looks to me from the manual that you should leave it off at this point.
