Recent P3D v2.4 converter, so far so good. 

 

Question.... I have downloaded the IVAO MTL pack to be use with vPilot client. However P3D seems to think that these are flyable aircraft and therefore it loads up, in my vehicle selection, that I have 5986 aircraft!

Is there anyway to disable this or make an ignore this within a .cfg ??

There is an option in the MTL window at the bottom that says "show all aircraft" or something similar can't remember. I'll look at it later and confirm.

But surely that would only hide all the models even when connected online?

Nope, I've never had the box checked and my aircraft all show up. Just make sure you have "aircraft casts shadows on ground" unchecked as this can cause them not to be invisible except for lights.
