DX10 - It Works - So Far

OOMS, I've been getting these after installing PNW, but I had a few with Orbx England, too. My system is no slouch, and I'm flying planes like the A2A Trainer and Carenado Caravan. So it's been a frustrating few weeks testing the settings I have to find a way to fly at sunset for more than half an hour :( I think my main problem has been traffic, I like quite alot of traffic....

 

Switching to DX10 seemed like the last resort, but it was pretty easy, especially with Steve's DX Fixer for sale. I've barely seen any problems, and tried hard to get FSX to OOM but the Caravan just kept on flying across England, over Southampton, Heathrow, London and eventually dropped down to VAS of 250,000 but kept on flying. I got bored and had to switch off in the end.

 

I'm hoping this is the end of my OOM problems, I'm not fussed about fancy textures or complex airliners ... I like GA and bush flying... and I want to fly for hours, with traffic filling the airports.
