May 1, 200521 yr I downloaded Eddie Denney's Alaska mesh; but am not sure as to how to use it. Is it worth installing after hearing about the disadvantages? And since there are 16 files to this mesh; How can I find out where the changes take place? Thanks for any help..Yar
May 1, 200521 yr FS Genesis has some great mesh for a few dollars that works like a charm It's easy to install and works well with Ultimate Terrain Alaska too. http://portal.fsgenesis.net/
May 1, 200521 yr Commercial Member Howdy, easy to install: make a new folder, say "AK mesh by Ed Denney", inside your FS9Addon Scenery directory, with a "scenery" subfolder in it, then place all of Ed's bgl files into that subfolder, then add it to the FS9 scenery library via Add Area, then restart FS9. Since the mesh covers all of Alaska you can pick any airfield. If you don't like what you see then all you have to do is remove the scenery entry from the file library and delete the AK mesh folder.Cheers, Holger
May 1, 200521 yr Thanks for the advice. Is there a way to track which area one file covers? How can I tell where to fly to see any scenery change?I enjoy flying Alaska for the scenery. I have installed plenty of the Bush Flying series and have been amazed with the scenery. I hope that those who do the scenery design keep up the good work. Will install the mesh and hope all goes well. Thanks again. Yar
