November 28, 201411 yr I am about to compare a few different programs and I would liike to ask if OpusFSI ever goes on sale? Nick Sciortino
November 28, 201411 yr Author Thank you for the quick reply. I do have another question, If I try the demo mode, is it the complete version or just highlights and will I need to delete it and reinstall another full version if I decide to purchase? Nick Sciortino
November 28, 201411 yr Commercial Member It has some limitations, mostly limited to generating the weather only on the ground and injecting weather for a restricted area. Best refer to our website and consult the documentation available on that site. The Demo is the full software so does nit need to be uninstalled after purchase. But you will need to uninstall to upgrade to a new version or install the latest beta (which can also be used in Demo 'unlicensed' mode). http://www.opussoftware.co.uk/opusfsi.htm Stephen :-)
November 28, 201411 yr Commercial Member With the latest OpusFSI you won't find anything that comes close to offering the same level of realism and detailed weather horizon to horizon. The latest betas incorporate both upper and lower GRIB forecast data, factoring in all data with the up to date METAR reports to provide an unprecidentited level of weather realism. The real time control of turbulence has also been enhanced factoring in all meteorological gradients and data from the ground up. We have had nothing but the most positive feedback and 'awesome' reports of the new live weather with cloud associations and multi level forecasts. Stephen :-)
November 28, 201411 yr Commercial Member I've just had an amazing late afternoon flight with OpusFSI, flying south into Gatwick in the Lancair Legacy, cruising along at 8000 feet enjoying the sights aided with a few nice airborne Panning Sequences. The cloud formations throughout the flight were incredible and in 100% agreement with the real world reports and cloud forecasts. I had my ButtKicker on providing excellent engine and turbulence feedback all synchronised with the RW DHM turbulence. Dropping down to 6000 feet just approaching London to find smoother air I was rewarded with a gentle wind straight down 08. Now that's why we bother with continued development of the OpusFSI flight sim software, and with flying the sim with OpusFSI of course, even though we are both very experienced and very frequent flyers in the RW. Just thought I would share. I use VFR scenery, UK2000 airports, FEX Soft and Natural clouds with a pale sky texture, and of course OpusFSI for everything else. Stephen :-)
