There is another and easy way to install the Winter_Package and change "seasons" by using JSGME Generic Mod Enabler, which works with X-Plane too.

The different structure of the package which is needed for that (and instructions) is already precast and can be downloaded here:

Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.

  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
