May 4, 200521 yr Greetings,I have searched several forums and have found no answer. While sitting at the gate or taxiing to the runway, "my" planes start bouncing like an very rough landing. At times leaving smoke and tire marks. I have not installed anything new in quite a while. I did try and replace my controller, because I was having trouble with it also, but no effect. I also updated FSUIPC to the latest version. My current setup is about 7 months running with no issues until now. I wont list what I add-ons I have installed, it is a lot. The AI aircraft seem okay, and no wheels are sinking into the ground.PaxBrad Mitchell
May 4, 200521 yr Hi Brad,I think I saw your post at one of the other forums, but had nothing to offer at the time. When you refer to "my" planes, do you mean all of them or only one or two?If you haven't tried it already, it sometimes works if you delete (or rename) the fs9.cfg file and let the program recreate it. There could be something corrupted within that file. Rename the current file as "fs9.old" so it can be reinstated if this plan doesn't work.Never have tried the above idea myself, but I know it takes care of some ill-defined problems.Regards,JerryH
May 4, 200521 yr Author Greetings,It is on most of my planes, either commercial add-ons or freeware. The smaller the plane the worst it gets. I was flying a DH4 last night and this thing looked like it was a bucking bronco.I will try the scenery.cfg idea. Should I delete the one in the main FS9 folder? PaxBrad
May 4, 200521 yr Brad,DON'T delete "scenery.cfg". The one I mentioned is "fs9.cfg". I think it's located somewhere within MyDocuments. I can't tell you specifically because I don't have fs9 (FS2004).Instead of deleting, I recommend renaming the file you don't want (such as "fs9.old"). Then if your plan doesn't work, simply rename back to the original filename. Regards,JerryH
