x52 pro trigger not working - brand new

I JUST got my x52 Pro that I bought brand new and updated the drivers and software from the website, and the trigger is not being picked up. I also don't feel any 2-stage trigger, there's no stop in the middle. I'm gonna try to talk to Saitek support about this but in the meanwhile does anyone here know what to do?

Update: the trigger must have been stuck on something because I opened it up and played around with it and put it back together and it works fine now. The 2-stage trigger does too. Not entirely sure what the initial problem was but I guess something was stuck and taking it apart un-stucked it
