I know this is probably not the most ideal place to post this but believe me I have posted everywhere else and there are a lot of knowledgable people here .... :-)Since updating SB to the new version 3.0.3 I have run up against a considerable nightmare? For some reason prior to the instal (which was straight over the top of 3.0.2 I hastened to add) FS and SB ran perfectly on my machine, it was a dream to fly online even got reasonable frame rates - but - since the update my pc continues to freeze and I have lost some voice connection capability with online controllers?, they can hear me with a readability of 5 but I cannot hear them or any other online traffic? All I have done since the update is renew my Panda Antivirus licence and downloaded / installed the new FSUIPC 3.4.8 Have you any suggestions I am going out of my mind trying to resolve this very annoying problem... plus its the online event of the century this weekend !!! I had the same voice problem first time I used SB3.0.3, but second time OK. Don't know if an initial use is necessary to set things up.Can't help with the other problem.

I have (after hours of trying) eventually worked out the problem ... :-)All, Just incase anyone is interested this is how to resolve the issue you may encounter when renewing your Panda Antivirus software and using SB3.0.3 .... when you renew your licence you simply uninstall the old version and re-install a new version, this totally deletes any past settings that you had set!! 1. Open Panda Antivirus 2. Go to internet options 3. Tick use Panda Firewall - this will open another window 4. untick let Panda decide on Internet settings (top box) 5. start Flight Sim 6. when FS tries to connect to the internet, a Panda warning may flash up in the bottom right of the desktop simply select 'Allow' a FS logo will then appear in the settings box of Panda on the box next to the logo select to outbound and inbound. 7. go back to FS and start Squawkbox 8. the same procedure applies from no. 6 Thats it should be resolved I managed to communicate last night with ATC for various radio checks (all readability 5's) around the world with no problems at all.
