Improve Performance New Machine

Featured Replies

Hey guys!!I bought a machine just for FS2004.It's a P4 2.4GHz, 1GB RAM, 128 ATI Video, 80GB HDD and a good 17 inch monitor. I own the CH Virtual Pilot Pro as well as the Pro Pedals.I was wondering what is the best way to run FS2004 smooth on the machine since I've done a couple of flights and sometimes the simulator slows down a bit. Is there a way to adjust windows so the FS9 performes optimally?I use it along with Squawkbox 3, Active Sky 2004 and FS Time to sincronize FS2004 time with real time. Any suggestions on how to improve this. Now I run the simulator in windows mode, but do you think running it on Full Screen will make a difference?Any help is greatly appreciated!Teo
