December 17, 201411 yr G'day Simmers I recently purchased the Saitek X55 and when I tried mapping the slider switch and the mini joystick on the throttle unit to FSX functions, FSX does not recognize the input when I activate the switches. I thought had a faulty unit until I tried the X55 with Prepar3D and the switches are indeed recognized and working. I have my slider set up as air brake and it works perfectly. Appreciate any advice.
December 17, 201411 yr I would not use fsx built in assignments what you really want to use is fsuipc its much better as fsx is pritty buggy when trying to assign controls plus you can do much more with fsuipc its not that expensive and would recommend it as i have my warthog setup through it so i can use dual throttle config. also take a look at LINDA for fsx its also good for assigning buttons etc to addon aircraft.
December 18, 201411 yr Thanks tam 210 for your feedback. I do have a registered copy of FSUIPC I will give it a try. Did not think of it actually.
