Hey guys....my FS 2k4 has been transforming into a sluggish programme having 5-10 fps or so...It seems like my explorer.exe (non-viral, i suppose) dominates my CPU when I run FS, so I resort to terminate explorer.exe but that doesn't help. looks like the n00b system doesn't know how to allocate memory and CPU priority to FS :(I performed virus scan and spyware/Adware scan, still, that doesn't helpWell I'd like to try deleting fs9.cfg, but where comes this file? i can't find it in my FS9 folder... :(Please help. Thanx guys Orz

There's plenty of info in the 'MS Tips and Tricks' section of the forum above.Your FS9 config file is in:C:documents and settings[username]application datamicrosoftFS9fs9.cfgTo get access you'll need to enable 'show hidden files'.RegardsIan

don't know if that's an option, but why not perform xp reinstall?
