FS Launch Corrupt

Featured Replies

Dear Aviators...It happens to the best...Whatever default flight I save, FS goes back to the default C172 with engine running in Seattle. I would like to have it start up cold and dark at my home airport.Aslo I get a message about FSSound.dll, to load or not to load???How to get rid of that and make FS2004 remember my default saved flight?

You need to go here to the MS Flight Simulator Tips and Tricks Forum/FS9.cfg forum on this site to fix the fssound.dll problem.Jim

I just uploaded a launcher for FS where you can select the start flight in advance and can even change it's time and weather.Look for file FSLaunch.ZIP on AVSIM.To get rid of that FSSound message:Find your FS9.CFG file in the personal applications folder (or search for it on your system drive) and open it with the Windows notepad.Find the [OldModules] section and add the line FSSound.DLL=1 or add the complete section. In my FS9.CFG it looks like this:...[OldModules]FSSound.DLL=1....Good luckWolfgang
