ariane fmc crash?

Featured Replies

simple question:why does the fmc crash fs2004?:-hahnow a bit "more" explanationi have the ariane 73G now for 2 days activated, everything is working fine but when i use the FMC, either FS crashes after a few minutes (i can still exit fs with the taskmanager) OR the cooler of my CPU (or graphic card, hard to say which one) starts to work like crazy (which he usually does in games with a super-high-end graphic after 2-3 hours of gaming, but only for 1-2 seconds!) and the complete computer crashes.I've tried to run it without additional addons - so i've deactivated activecamera and activesky - but.. again the same, it's hard to say what actually causes the crash, it just happens... and you can never know when..Just asked a few other guys who also have the ariane 73G, but they're saying that they don't have any problems :-(what could be the problem? :-(

Tha fact that other users are not getting the same error as you suggests that the fault probably has nothing to do with the Ariane FMC (unless your computer likes them as much as me ).Based on what you've said, it sounds like the machine's just a little 'sick' at the moment. First thing I'd try is to completely defrag the hard disk (found under programs/accessories/system tools). It could also be a memory issue, but I'd suggest a defrag first - can't hurt.Hope this helps.Toni.
