Hey all, today I received FSX: Gold in the mail, but recently I've been leaning towards P3D as my simulator of choice.

 

I was wondering if the FSX Migrator tool works if FSX has yet to be installed. Obviously if the addon is P3D compatible out of the box, I'm good to go. That said, there are many addons that aren't immediately P3D compatible and need to be passed through the migrator tool. Is this possible if I have yet to install FSX? 

 

I'd like to keep my drive as clean as possible, so if I do decide to go with P3D I'd like to install it off the bat and wait on FSX until later (if at all). 

 

On the other hand, if I opt for FSX (at least initially) this is moot, but I did want to ask.

Do you mean the estonia tool? Then you don't need FSX to be installed as it creates a virtual or a fake FSX to migrate the desired addons.
