May 18, 200521 yr Maybe the real British Airways shut them down. I had that very same thing happen to a US Airways VA that I was a pilot for. Too many customers had confused the VA website for the real thing.
May 18, 200521 yr BAV existed for a long long time. And don't believe that like this, without a warning it just closed...
May 18, 200521 yr Please see the scrolling message along the top of www.speedbirdonline.co.ukThis is nothing to do with BA.Cheers,Paulhttp://www.strontiumdog.plus.com/conc_capt_ba.jpgConcorde Training Captainwww.BAVirtual.co.uk
May 18, 200521 yr BAV is endorsed by BA which as far as I am aware is the only rw airline to have given such a seal of approval to a VA bearing its name. For those who don't wish to follow the link the problems with the web site relate to a serious technical issue. It will no doubt be up again very soon.
May 21, 200521 yr I also cannot access the british airways virtual website as it says 'page cannot be displayed', can someone please help us??
May 21, 200521 yr There has been a serious hardware failure which is keeping the site offline while new parts are installed in the servers and the data is restored. A few more days yet I guess.
