January 18, 201511 yr Hello everyone. I recently started up my computer to find that my Microsoft Flight Simulator X had many files missing including the fsx.exe. Therefore, I instinctively tried to repair FSX; however, it displayed: Error 1309: Error reading from D:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator X\Licenses\client-issuance-ppd.xrm-ms I tried it again yet it said the same thing. Therefore, I manually deleted the rest of the FSX files until there was no fsx files on my computer, yet I did not uninstall my 3rd party programs such as Active Sky Next or my FSX demo. However I still found that FSX existed in my control panel. Are there any fixes for this? Does anybody else have this issue? Any advice or support would be appreciated. Yours sincerely, Djchanas
January 18, 201511 yr Hi Djchanas I think you just answered your own question. ASN and any other fsx addon need to be removed before you reinstall fsx. This link might help you. http://support.precisionmanuals.com/kb/a87/how-to-uninstall-and-reinstall-fsx.aspx Ian Neil
