I currently use a gamepad with two analog sticks. I like it but would it suit me better in the long run to use a joystick. One day i plan on getting my PPL. Any thoughts? Thanks!Wiskey Tango

Personally I would definetly go for the joystick. It gives you a much better tactile feel when flying than a gamepad ever could. Remember that as teched-out as planes are even the hyper-computerized Airbus airliners have joysticks!You mentioned youre going for your PPL. If you can - then go all the way and get a control yoke w/intergral throttle and rudder-pedals. But again...if thats out of the question then def go for the joystick You might also consider force-feedback versions.I use a simple Saitek stick that does the job just fine. Theres so much choice out there, go to the stores and check em out!:)
