another short workaround OOM ( i know)

Recommended Posts

I dont know why i never have thought about using FSDT addon manager inside FSX/P3D regarding TML 1024/2048/4096.

It must be my lack of knowledge offcause B) . I did not know that you could change the TML during the flight but you can, because it writes to the memory directly . For instance if you cant effort 2 HD airports but only one then you could start ad a HD airport and land with no HD textures even if HD textures is installed in that destination airport. Switch between off/TML2048/4096 changes in real time VAS up and down (EKCH) with about 200MB on my system.

This is great as i normal on approach would prefer 1024 textures (because of OOM) and after landing if there is room for it change to TML 2048. Maybe FSPS could integrate this as well in there accelerator based on altitude  for instance?

Try it if you havent before

(i know you can make you own profiles inside FSX/P3D and i dont know if they changes in real time. Havent testet it,  but this must be the easiest way to change TML)
