May 27, 200521 yr Hi all! I am having a major problem. I cannot figure it out, and I need some input on this peculiar problem. When I start the game, I have NO taxiways. The lines are all there, and so are the signs, but no hard surface. I can then go into my settings / display / scenery complexity, and I can raise it to the max, or if I start it off at max, reduce it a little. Then I can go back to the game. Once there I still will not have the surface textured. I must go back in and do it again, and if I reduce or increase the scenery complexity and start the game, the textures will now be there. NOW......if I take off and fly for a few minutes and come back to land, the textures will be gone again. Anyone have an idea? It's got me beat! Thanks in advance.Don
May 27, 200521 yr Did this come out of the blue Don, or has it been happening a while? Only thing I can think of is some type of add-on conflict, or some setting in the FS9.cfg that's caused the issue. I would rename the fs9.cfg to fs9.old to start, let FS9 rebuild it, and see if the problem goes away.-John
May 27, 200521 yr Thanks buddy. I'll try that and see. It has done it before, but not like it is doing now. I'll let you know of the result. Thanks again.Don
May 28, 200521 yr Nope, that didn't work. I also deleted any and all new stuff. Still the same. I don't understand this at all.Don
May 28, 200521 yr Only other thing I can think of is a recent thread where someone had s similar problem, and they managed to fix it by upgrading their chipset and graphics drivers.-John
May 28, 200521 yr My thought is maybe you have some terrain mesh added in the area that is covering the runways. Check to see if it happening to all airports or just in a certain area. Did you add any scenery lately?
