simconnect setup with fsx steam

Hi

I had the smconnect system running perfectly with addons running on client pc connecting to sim pc.

I just did a fresh isntall of fsx steam on sim machine. I also installed the legacy skd file that came with fsx steam. The client machine has not been changed and things are not connecting. Can some one let me know what needs to be done to re instate the connection I had as I'm sure others are having the sam issue. I have posed this topic twice on the Steam fsx forum but I guess there is not the depth of knowledge I need.
