Flight Sim on a second drive for the first time.

Featured Replies

For the first time, I am planning on installing my Flight Sims on a secondary drive. I plan to install FS9, FSX, P3D and XPX. The computer has a fresh install of Win 7 with all of the updates.

Is there anything I need to do differently? And SSDs recommended? Is there a size that I should be looking for?

Besides base installs, XPX is mostly my "project sim" at this point so almost no 3rd party content besides HD Mesh. FS will have FTX Global, Vector, and a host of payware airports/freeware airports.

The drive I've narrowed in on is the Intel 530 series 240gb SSD.

Thoughts please!

Tom
