Found out something that has bugged me for months. I'm flying with IVAO and using ASN. I was seeing artifacts and big square shapes in the sky and on the ground.
Then I switched off ASN and all was well.

Seems the on-line weather was conflicting with my weather program.
I hope this helps anyone else in the same boat?
