I love the Japanese guy Daisuke's Super Hornet, I just love the F18E/F new Hornets. Especially now the Tomcat is becoming obsolete which I loved the sweeping wings, the new Super Hornet is a cool US a/c (but still doesn't outperform the Sukhois).I'd like to know how I can do air-air refuelling in MSFS 2004. Daisukes a/c has the probe which can be extended for this operation to refuel mid-air.Anyone got any ideas?www.danielmcaloon.tk

Hi, If you buy Lago's Tornado or F-16, they both have a module for air to air refuelling, it's great. You can also adjust the effective "contact area".Andy

OK, so air to air refuelling hasn't received much attention in the FS community unless you are a heavy military FS user (non MSFS).Anyway, how can I setup a tanker to fly where I want (and a high-res tanker with a fuel boom!) like set its flight plan and times of t/o and landing and points of refuelling ops......Does anyone else have any ideas?In the Lago one is it just a flight and you can't change the details?Daniel

The Lago refuel module is a module that you can call up at any time. The tanker flies a racetrack at an altitude, heading and distance from the point at which you call the module. This means that you can use it anywhere in the world with any aircraft... Or, well, any aircraft that can catch the tanker! ;-)Ian P.

The Russian FS team's Bear comes with an ai tanker you can rendezvous with at various places and times in Russian airspace.

I have it and it works pretty well. I had to adjust the contact area, because I am not talented enough to get in just the right spot. Pretty neat little addon. Frame rate friendly, etc. Worth it for the F-16 and the refueling capabilities. If you get the Lago Tornado you can choose to hook up to a Vickers that has the refueling chute instead of the boom. The F/A-18 needs the chute for refueling, but only for realism. The boom should still work. :DKev
