June 6, 200521 yr It looks fantastic, and that usually means framerate killer. I too would like to know, if it's not too hard on frames, I'd definately pick it up
June 6, 200521 yr It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it :-lol I took the plunch. My first impression is good, and it does hit the framerates (of course it does with that kind of details)I only have made 1 approach with the Flight1 Cessna 172, so this is no scientific framerate test ;-)I had framerates in the 2D cockpit between 18-22.When wandering on the airport itself in external view, framerate varied between 13-25 which is OK for me.Graphic Settings: - No AI- 1280x1024 AA4/AF8- Scenery: Very Dense- Autogen: Very Dense- No scenery shadows- Max frates set at 25System:- AMD Ahtlon 64 3500+- Radeon X850XT- 2GB Corsair XMS RAM Location: Vleuten, The Netherlands, 17.3dme SPL 108.40 | Simulator: FS2024 System: AMD 7800X3D - Gigabyte X670 - RTX 4090 - 64GB DDR5 - 2 x 2TB SSD - 32" 1440p Display - Windows 11 Pro
June 6, 200521 yr Thanks for the info. That's a pretty big hit for no AI traffic. Are there static AI airplanes? I hope you can turn them off if there are. I might purchase this within the next few weeks, KMSY and KDEN by imaginesim are next on my list.
June 6, 200521 yr Author Funny that this topic came up because I was researching LFPG scenery this past weekend. I considered the SimWings purchase, then decided to try out the FSFrance.com RealCDGv3.1 scenery by the FSFrance team.OK, it's not an exact match for SimWings scenery, but it's pretty good for freeware! Frame rates are very good also.Scenery is here: http://www.projets.fsfrance.com/RealCDG/Do...ad.php?ID=31041and AVSIM has a very good AFCAD located here: http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=55137BTW, all 4 runways are active and Xavier has done a remarkable job replicating the unique taxiway lighting at night.Bruce
