I would like to explain, how to use Active Sky Next (my favorite weather AddOn) running with SIMstarter.
Since version 2.6 of SIMstarter you can do configuration changes to ASN depending on a SIMstarter profile.

Example: If you run an heavy metal plane environment you may should reduce your cloud settings.
Example: If you run Night Environment X (from Chris Bell) you could lower your cloud settings as well to get more performance for the beautiful lights.

Step 1: Set the path to ASNext.exe (should be found automaticly):

Step 2: Define that Active Sky Next should be automaticly started by SIMstarter. This is an important option because ASN need to be started after the configuration changes by SIMstarter have been done.

Step 3: Click "Use ASN settings for this profile" to allow configuration settings for this profile.

Step 4: You can import your settings to other profiles. Simply select your main setting profile and import the settings to other SIMstarter profiles
