Kittyhawk 737-800 problem

Featured Replies

Hi all. i was wondering if anyone can help me with the b737-800 from kittyhawk. The problem is that this aircraft simply will not hold altitude when the autopilot is engaged immediately after takeoff. Is there something that I can adjust in the aircraft config or is it an sir file problem? Thanks in advance

Id search around, and look to see if there are any Flight Dynamics for download. I had the kittyhawk, and it wasnt a good plane with the dynamics. I got tired of full pitch up to be able to fly a approach. I got fed up and purchased the PMDG which is highly reccomended. But then again, thats really 2 different breed of addons. Make shure the aircraft is trimmed good, and then engauge the A/P, and set your V/S at something reasonable. Like 3200 on the climb out, then at about 2000ft, reduce it to around 2500 and pull back the power.Ill look around and see if i cant help you out some.:-wave

Does PMDG offer more of a Frame Rate hit?The Kittyhawk is pleasant for flight because of good FPS.Daniel

Daniel,The Kittyhawk is pretty much an 'eyecandy' aircraft. It's flight model is not really close to what the 800 is all about. And yes, the PMDG, being a procedural sim, and most intricate, has a more severe fps hit . . . however it is a great example of the 737.Clayhttp://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...ers/Dopke01.jpgClayton T.
