Is there a different way to switch off dynamic lightning?

Featured Replies

Hello!

Dynamic lightning is a part of hardware tesselation. I don´t like to switch off hardware tesselation completely because it gives me smoothest performance, But unfortuneately  the dynamic lightning makes many of my photoreal sceneries a way to bright around noon and afternoon time. So is there a way to modify this somewhere in the P3D root (or somewhere else)? And if not is there a way to switch it off completely without switching off hardware tesselation itself?

Thanks in advanced ,

Holger Mutert

So this is even with HDR off?

Yes it is. In this case it looks even better with HDR on. I also opened a thread in the LM Forum and posted there two pics. You can see how extreme the dynamic lightning affects the photoscenery:

At least you got a response over there.

That's unusual.

Is that the Sim Giants FSX scenery you are using?
