Help with a FS2004 Problem

Featured Replies

Hello, when you install a plane in FS2004 that lets says it was made for FS2002 you get a message that says some of the parts are not 100% compatible with FS2004 and allows you to disable this non-compatible parts.I was installing a FS2002 plane and i got that message and by mistake I click YES.. it was a mistake... I had to click no... and now my plane is not working correctly. I know this plane works in 2004.Do you know how to reset this messsage so it can appear again?I already un-install my plane a re-install and nothing. Thanks in advance for your help.

The reason you get this meassage is that the program used for aircraft animations before gmax is not compatable with FS9 and is why sometimes you get no gears, props, or animated parts showing up, also some gauges don't work.Go to your FS9 cfg and look for the FrameCallNoWarn section and find your aircraft, change the "0" to a "1" and it will enable any parts that will work despite the warning, sometimes all work, sometimes none, just have to try it out.Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/mcdcvabanner.jpgCalVirAir International

No problem guys, my pleasure. I tried for awhile when FS9 first came out to get some of my favorites to work, but without redoing the animation from the source codes, it was hopeless for some. Luckily most have been redone for FS9 to even better quality, so I don't even try with FS2002 exclusive aircraft any longer.Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/mcdcvabanner.jpgCalVirAir International
