What's the best way to benchmark with this sim?

Looking to benchmark various driver sets... I assume I need to use the flight recorder...Right?What's the preffered method for repeatable results?

Caveman,I've always used a static setup to measure performance. I don't understand how it's possible to measure frame rates accurately if the aircraft is moving.I still use Rwy 36 at Meigs for my tests (old habits die hard!). Set up whatever cloud layers and scenery complexity you want and then save the flight. I also turn off Ai aircraft temporary and set the frame rate limiter to unlimited. That way I can instantly assess whether new drivers are better or worse than the previous set.To assess how well Ansiotropic filtering is working I slew up to 2,000ft (again at Meigs) and set the view to look left (west). This is a very good test of AF. I find that 8X works best with my P4 1Gb, 9800 128Mb Pro system.Cheers,
