Reason I'm aking is it has been down for over a week or more. I keep getting an error when downloading realtime weather in fs9. I checked the site and the page is up. Telling me that if I can see the page then there is nothing wrong with my internet connection. It actually seem to be back working on saturday but was down again yesterday. Can somebody direct me to an alternative (free) weather server out there? I seem to recall someone talking about using one last year or so.

I don't believe the problem is with Microsoft's website. I just checked the National Weather Service website and their updates are currently over 2.5 hours late. When the NWS does not update, MS's link to the weather fails and you get the error message.

Hey thanks for the update, well the goverment is almost as slow as MS. Guess I'll have to stick with static weather :-(
