Loss of control on ONE engine

Featured Replies

I use the keyboard for flying. Sometimes on course of my flight when I swithc of the autothrottle, and try to adjust the throttles myself using F2 and F3, I lose the one of the engines. I cannot seem to get the symmetrical control back. I can of course use E + 1 or 2 to change but I want to know how to get back the symmetrical control, which is vital on approach.

The key sequence is E, 1, 2. Press each key alone and one by one. R-

Hi Debosonic, regaining "all engine control" seems to be a common problem, which might be caused by a badly behaving throttle (Somewhere I read about how one can identify these gauges easily, but I can't find it right now :-(. It should be somewhere here in the forum though). You may want to look herehttp://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...59216&mode=fulland therehttp://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...59260&mode=fullfor some hints. Also, if you have a registered FSUIPC version, you can assign a Hotkey to resync the engines.RegardsOliver

Like Oliver said, setting a hotkey to resynch the engines in FSUIPC is the easiest way, has saved me a few times.
