June 28, 200520 yr Hello,If you take a look from afar you will notice the groups that are quick to offer support and or suggest the discussed add on package. As you will see over time a lot of these people have worked together in the past, one capacity or another. Just start checking the association in the credits, the test teams and the like. It seems the look out for each other as one would assume. So it appears that these type add ons will be able to work together one way or the other. By this I mean from the initial realize the product is set up to be able to be used with other products such as mesh. If you notice FSGenesis, Justins nitch product is mesh and seems to have become a sort of beench mark. This is good as he has been at it and earned it. So I am suggesting add on scenery like the various AK packages will benefit from his textures. Now as far as the definition of one from another "I know enough to know I don't know". It seems though that there is Mesh (textures of the landscape) and scenery (what we see upon the textured landscape). Please be aware this may be wrong in relation to the offical terminology but that is the little bit I seem to have learned about reading from the product discription and knowing what it falls under catigory wise. Now then throw in landclass. Well from the authors review of the AK Cinematic landclass is a bad thing or so it seemed as I read it. I wish to think the powers that be here in this and other MSFS communities (some being the same ) will evolve the definitions futher more as time goes by. It appears you will start to see more and more recommended and other references discussing products that can co-exsist with others. If you are new to the industry (or hobby) and dont have a "in group" to hang with then good luck. Or maybe its just a coinsedent that this product works so well with the other one, LOL.

Dose it work with FSGen mesh."Hi, if you check out the Georender forums http://www.georender.org/Support.htm you'll see what issues there are and what workaround/fixes that are available. AC1 has mesh, but for the most part, yes it works with the FSG mesh"Is there a way to keep straight Mesh, Terrian, scenery, andthe rest as well as which tend to compatiable with eacgother."No way to keep it straight other than knowledge of the product and it's developers. While some are working together to ensure that their respective products will work together, there are MANY variables involved and compatibility is not always an option. UT changed the landscape so much in places, it was like having to redesign everything for a new sim. A designer would either have to do several versions to work with various addons or design what works for him. It all depends on a developers commitment, time and skill as to whether this will happen.I expect this to worsen when products like UT for the whole USA are released and more and more addons will have to be redone, ....or not.Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/mcdcvabanner.jpgCalVirAir International Best, Michael KDFW
